Lexus: CT200h Launch Campaign
Having outperformed client expectations with the LFA campaign, I was brought back in to handle the online launch of Lexus’ flagship luxury hybrid, the CT200h. Working with Walton Isaacson, I led the ideation, creation and build of the rich media ads, event registration sites, and multiple, pan-demographic mobile websites (general market, African American and Hispanic).
There have been many zombie survival guides making their way online over the last few years, but they all have one major flaw. They operate under the outdated and erroneous assumption that all zombies are slow-moving dull-witted sloths with limited motor functions. Quite how this portrayal of zombies came into being is unknown (although it probably stems back to the cataleptic state associated with zombies in Haiti, created by voodoo, however the victims of these ritual attacks are not truly zombies; they’re just chemically enslaved and therefore have no will of their own).
I’m certainly no world class beauty photographer, but I can crank out a half decent pic.
Inspired by new the DJ’ing techniques pioneered in the late 70’s and early 80’s by ‘Kool Herc’ and later ‘Chris the Glove Taylor’ – the undisputed Godfathers of hip-hop and what has now become known as Turntablism – a new breed of DJ/Producers started playing experimental electronic music fusing elements of disco, electro/hip-hop, and funk & punk in the bars and clubs of Chicago and Detroit, The term ‘House Music’ being derived from the definitive Grandfather of house Frankie Knuckles’ Chicago based club ‘The Warehouse’.
MTV & AT&T: Back-Flip
I led conceptualization, R&D, development, tech strategy and publisher integration on a series of VoIP rich media demos that MTV used to pitch, as part of a media offering, to numerous advertisers from AT&T to Toyota. During the R&D cycle, we tested and eliminated numerous third-party VoIP providers due to security or quality issues, until we had a fully baked product. With each iteration, a focus group was conducted to test functionality, consumer reaction and likelihood of engagement.
